On our 4th grade team, we share a vision with goals of how we want to grow together. The students' classroom shared vision includes their desire to "strive for excellence." That is what we do, but we face the challenge of very limited resources.
In our school district, we believe in preparing our students for the 21st Century regardless of their background or circumstances.
We are a Title I school and have the highest number of ESOL students in our area. Our students are dedicated to growing as learners every single day!
My Project
Flu season is here and students are getting sick! It is hard for students to learn when they are not feeling well. When 50+ students are in and out of the classroom on a daily basis, getting rid of germs can be tricky.
We need Kleenex, hand sanitizer, and cleaning supplies so we can keep our bodies healthy!
I am requesting these materials so my students can work in a clean and healthy environment. We share desks, flexible seating, and school supplies with each other so it is important that we can clean and disinfect on a weekly basis. Cleaning supplies such as Clorox wipes, method spray, and paper towels will help disinfect those areas and leave the room smelling fresh! My students also need Kleenex for their runny noses because the paper towels that are supplied in our room is too rough on their skin. We go through a lot of tissue during cold/flu season so having boxes around the room will ensure my students always have it when it is needed!
Let's keep these awesome fourth graders healthy and germ-free!
