Snacks for Newcomers

Help me give my students who are newcomers, snacks to have during our after school hour. All of these students are new to this country and do not have the resources to have extra food after school.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Being new to a big city is hard. Being new to Middle-School is hard.I am requesting snacks and containers to help my students focus during our after-school hor. When my students are hungry, their main focus is on their hunger, not academics. I am requesting snacks to help support my newcomers who do not have the resources to purchase extra food for themselves.

I know the students who ask for snacks are genuinely hungry.

I've been supplying these options with help from Donors Choose, but I'm completely out with only few weeks of school left. I need this order to get us to summer! I know my students will be very appreciative of these snack options.
