My Project

I teach a diverse population of students in grades 5 and 6. My students attend a Special Act School District serving children with disabilities. Many have experienced traumatic events and deal with the stress of foster care or uncertain housing. Students from throughout New York State, including the five boroughs of NYC, attend our school program for the academic and social-emotional support services we provide.

Snacks help to satisfy hunger between meals and boost energy.

My students need snacks to be able to focus on their classwork. They also need a microwave to heat up their lunches.

The snacks requested will help ensure my students are always ready to learn! At the end of the day, students will also be able to select a snack to bring home.
