Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of the students at our school struggle to make it through the school day. We want the library to offer students basic supplies that they often request, like menstrual products, tissue, and lotion to help students feel cared for and comfortable in the school day. Napkins, cups, and forks are also commonly requested in our library space, and I want to help make student groups feel welcome by having the supplies they request.

Students should have supplies to help support them get through the school day.

I want to also keep our space clean and advocate for students to care for our space by having ample supplies available to them.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
