For their geometry final, students came up to the whiteboard to complete problem sets on their magnetic coordinate planes, and the dry erase markers and tools were super helpful for setting students up for success. \r\n\r\nSimilarly, in Algebra, students have been able to use the dry erase markers and algebra manipulatives to access key content needed for the Interim assessments. \r\n\r\nFinally, everyone has been having fun with the math posters: they are helpful visual anchors and the math puns make math more fun! Every student that received a new one has been so excited and take care of them as if it was their own.\r\n\r\nThe brand new saxophone straps have made it a better experience for our students since they have brand new padding. These sticks allow students to work on rhythm charts and be able to have enough to take home to practice with their practice pads. Sticks have always been scarce in my classroom. Now we are positive that everyone is able to use a pair. These sticks also get used by my non drummers to work on rhythm sheets. They are helping improve students on their sight reading even if they are not a drummer.\r\n\r\nFor the gel pads, they have helped control the ringing in our snare drums to provide a pleasant sound. With all of our snares having them, it gives us a nice attack with less resonance. When we use them live, our sound is more balanced and professional. The organizer bins help us to keep track of our supplies, the certificates and cards and snacks allow us to celebrate student progress, the dry erase boards and markers and pencils allow all students to show what they know when teachers are checking for understanding. We have been able to loan out Amazon Fire tablets to students to read digital books read.\r\n\r\nFurthermore, staff are now able to amplify and record their lessons as a result of the tech provided. We can better hear teachers with the voice amplifiers, we can see their lessons as a result of the presentation clickers (that allow teachers to circulate), and we can watch and debrief lessons as a result of the voice recorders and GoPro camera.\r\n\r\nWe feel much better set up for success.
