These studio monitors have been used to practice with the DJ software, create a final mix in logic and even used to record in an analog 4 channel mixer used to record on to tape. These monitors have helped students to learn different technologies that can be found in an audio production career. It is important for our students to be able to work with both digital and analog tools to be well versed for modern studios. \r\n\r\nNow students have been able to finish their mixes quicker and with an honest picture of how their recordings and mixes sound. It is essential especially since it is hard to monitor the low end of a mix through headphones or the computer speakers. It allows them to make on the spot decisions of how to record a performance, which microphone to use, and make critical EQ decisions. I have seen that the more a student works with these speakers, the better each new project becomes.
