Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Most of the students do not eat well-balanced meal at home. They come to school hungry and not in the mindset to learn. Providing them with healthy snacks can be expensive, but it helps them learn and grow.

I would like to have some snacks in the class for students that may come to school hungry and in need of a pick-me-up to get them through the long school day.

We have a designated time for snacks in my class however, some students do not bring in a snack because parents can't afford to send them to school with a snack. These snacks will also be available for students that come to my class hungry and in need of a pick-me-up. The snacks will keep students focused on learning and not worried about their stomach growling.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated. Please help us in any way you can. Thank you for any donation you can give.
