I have 25 amazing, talented first graders. First graders focus on learning foundational skills and putting them into context. They are ready and eager to learn. These 6 and 7-year-olds thrive on new knowledge to support their success.
Our school has roughly 65% of the students receiving free or reduced-price lunch.
This makes it difficult to ask for and receive classroom donations from students and their families. With the items that I have requested, my students will have the ability to learn at their fingertips.
This project allows my students to maintain focus, rigor, and engagement throughout the days, weeks, and months of their first-grade year. The snacks such as crackers, pretzels, and animal crackers will be provided to the students so they are able to maintain the stamina needed to succeed in first grade.
These items will help support the learning of my students throughout the year.
Thank you in advance for choosing our project for your donation. Your donation allows my students the opportunity to improve their fine motor skills, practice math, language arts, science and social studies concepts, and through creative expression. You are giving my students the supplies they need to succeed in school while having fun. Thank you.
