My Project

Snack time is essential for students to maintain energy levels and focus throughout the school day, preventing irritability and hunger-driven fatigue. It provides critical nutrients that boost cognitive function for better learning, supports balanced nutrition for growth, and serves as a social opportunity for students.

Snacks stabilize blood sugar, ensuring students stay alert and focused, reducing distractions caused by hunger.

Snacks help ensure children receive some the necessary nutrients (like fiber, vitamins, and protein) that they may not get enough of during regular meals. Regular snacks help students maintain a steady energy supply, preventing the "energy crashes" that make it difficult to focus on schoolwork.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
