Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come to class every day energized and ready to learn! They are sponges ready to soak up all the knowledge that is waiting for them. Some of my favorite qualities they display are kindness, helpfulness, and thoughtfulness.

Our school is a Title I, low poverty school made up of 50% English Language Learners.

My students are working very hard to learn English as well as Chinese because of our Global Magnet Program. I am proud to be their teacher!

My Project

Our class needs help staying organized and these materials will allow us to maintain order and function in our room! Literacy smart station materials will be housed in the folders and Sterilite containers. Student tasks will be color coordinated (by folder color) and placed inside the plastic containers. Students will retrieve the containers and open them to work on the color-designated folder.

This will allow us to learn about the importance of organization, and keep the kiddos responsible for keeping materials organized!

We value a clean and orderly learning environment and these materials will have a huge impact on helping us maintaining one.
