My Project

My students are part of a self-contained Exceptional Children classroom and benefit greatly from structure, routine, and visual supports. Many of them struggle with transitions, communication, and understanding daily expectations without consistent visual reinforcement. A touchscreen calendar will provide an interactive, engaging way to model and review our daily schedule, helping students build independence and reduce anxiety. The addition of tablets will allow for individualized instruction, communication supports, and skill practice tailored to each learner’s needs.

These tools will create a more accessible, predictable, and engaging learning environment where all students can succeed.

In addition, tablets would allow me to provide individualized instruction tailored to each student’s unique needs and ability levels. These devices can support communication through apps, reinforce academic skills, and provide engaging, hands-on learning opportunities that keep students motivated. Together, these tools will help create a structured, predictable, and engaging classroom environment where students can build independence, strengthen communication skills, and make meaningful academic and social progress.
