Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come to class every day ready to learn, but many of them do not have access to basic school supplies. As a Title I middle school teacher, I work with many English learners who are building both language and academic skills simultaneously. Simple tools like pencils, folders, and markers make a big difference in helping them stay organized, participate in lessons, and express their ideas with confidence.

With these materials, students will be able to write daily, keep their work organized, and actively engage in lessons.

The folders will help them manage their assignments, while dry-erase markers and classroom visuals will support interactive learning. Even small items like erasers and paper clips help create a smooth, focused learning environment.

These small supplies will have a big impact by giving my students the tools they need to succeed every day.
