The calm room, designed with low lighting, has provided students with a much-needed sensory break from the stimulation of brightly lit classrooms, allowing them to reset and return to learning more focused.\r\n\r\nWhen students were first introduced to the materials, their response was overwhelmingly positive. They expressed excitement about the availability of additional fidgets and updated snack options, frequently making comments such as, \"You have the best snacks.\" This initial enthusiasm has translated into consistent use of the resources.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, students continue to independently access these supports as needed. Many students regularly visit to borrow fidgets or spend time in the calming space, including engaging with the sand in the Zen garden, which they consistently describe as relaxing.
