Have you ever had a student not motivated by grades? Who wanted to know how an assignment would help them in life? Or asked what is the point of this assignment? Most of the time the response may not help them for four or five years especially in middle school. Our students are embarking on a journey of Problem Based learning this year. They will be working with local community partners to help them solve some of their current problems facing their business or organization. My students first endeavor will be to help our local library bring teenager back to the library after the Covid19 shut down. This is a need because it will help our students to start to connect to their community again. They will be able to build relationship and work on community concerns that they can impact right now not four or ten years down the road. History and Geography 8 SS.6-8.WGGS.2, SS.6.8.WGGS.3, SS.6-8.WGGS.4, SS.6-8.WGGS.5, SS.6-8.WGGS.7, SS.6-8.WGGS.10 etc.
