My Project

In our PreK–3 classrooms, we work hard every day to help students build strong character alongside strong academic skills. We celebrate the small but powerful choices they make, showing kindness to a classmate, following directions, helping clean up without being asked, persevering through a challenging task, and treating others with respect.

I have seen how powerful our school-wide positive behavior system is for our students.

When students earn tickets, their faces light up with pride. These moments of recognition are simple, but they have a meaningful impact on student motivation, behavior, and the overall climate of our school.

The resources in this project will help us keep our Treasure Box stocked with meaningful rewards that students can earn for making positive choices. These incentives reinforce kindness, responsibility, perseverance, and respect, while also helping students feel seen, valued, and successful. With this project, we can continue building a positive, encouraging school culture where students are excited to learn, grow, and do their best each day!
