We've been using them during our critical thinking sessions, where students work through logic puzzles, strategy games, and collaborative problem-solving tasks. One recent activity involved small groups rotating through different stations—each with a unique challenge designed to stretch their reasoning skills. The flexible seating allowed students to choose where they felt most comfortable and focused, whether that meant sitting on a wobble stool for a logic game or spreading out on the floor with a partner to tackle a puzzle.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the students were genuinely excited. They immediately gravitated toward the new seating options and were eager to try out the games. It was fun to watch them explore and start making connections between the games and the thinking strategies we've been practicing. The materials have helped create a more inviting and student-centered environment that supports both independence and collaboration.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we're diving into a multi-week project where students will design their own critical thinking games. They'll be applying logic, creativity, and communication skills to build something they can share with peers. The flexible seating will continue to support their work time, and the games you helped provide are serving as great models and inspiration. Thank you for helping us create a space where students feel challenged, supported, and excited to learn.","fullyFundedDate":1758836424848,"projectUrl":"project/game-on-for-bright-minds-boosting-criti/9408838/","projectTitle":"Game On for Bright Minds: Boosting Critical Thinking Through Play","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Thornburg","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9271195"},{"teacherId":4613092,"projectId":8925098,"letterContent":"Thank you for funding my project on Donor's Choose for the following items: hand2mind Advancing Phonics Word Work Small Group Set, Airheads, shaving cream, Elkonin boxes, Pete The Cat books and the sand trays.
