My students need new golf pencils to write with. Smaller pencils are developmentally appropriate shown by the data in Handwriting Without Tears. The pencil sharpener is to keep the pencils sharp for using.
I have 21 amazing Kindergarten students in my classroom! They are smart, witty, and full of life. They have qualities that all of us adults strive for. They are compassionate toward each other and their school. My students work hard at everything they do and grow with each passing second.

My Project
My classroom uses Handwriting without Tears as a writing curriculum. Their data shows that smaller hands need smaller pencils. It is important to give children tools that are developmentally appropriate. I want my students to be given every chance to succeed in their writing. My students will start their school career off with the right tools to enhance their skills. They will use the small pencils to create letters and form numbers.
The golf pencils are the correct size for my students.
The fancy pencil sharpener will help me keep my students supplies working to their benefit. Pencil sharpeners are very hard to keep working in a school year. I have read reviews and shopped around. I believe that this sharpener is the best for kindergarten.
