Because they have used tablets since they could push buttons (some for talking devices) this was a very easy transition. They are so curious and want to know what every icon does. They want to use every color and brushstroke! They love the ease of changing colors and textures with just their finger or the iPad pencil. And they retain that knowledge once I show them a few times. It has been wonderful! It is funny to me, but they are faster at finding different brush strokes or colors than I am!! They can warp and copy things so fast it blows my mind. I am going to send pictures of student work. \r\nThe number of students that I have been able to work with has decreased from my original number. Half of my students had to be pushed into the regular classroom (for part of the year during activity classes) because of new laws. Right about the time my Items were delivered, it was the time that they would be pushed into regular classrooms. I do have the regular classes in art, but they are full and we are following standards making it too hard to work just one on one. \r\nI would certainly say that the kids who have been in class to use the program are using it successfully. These kids are excited about what they can do. Right now their artwork is just exploratory, but I am hopeful that a few of them will continue using this program throughout their school career. Oh, I showed them how to take photos upload and alter them.... now I can't get them to stop taking pictures! I am so glad they enjoy it and am so very thankful for your donations.","fullyFundedDate":1737143422524,"projectUrl":"project/artistically-empowering-nonverbal-studen/8928996/","projectTitle":"Artistically Empowering Nonverbal Students with Apple iPad and Procreate!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Parks","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3408189_orig.jpg?crop=2188,2188,x0,y92&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1731047498542","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3408189"},{"teacherId":9607297,"projectId":8518833,"letterContent":"I would like to take a moment to thank you for your contribution to our future and \"My Safe Space Project\".
