My classroom will use the 2 iPad Minis in their writing station to increase their literacy skills. My students take a standardized test three times a year; it is computerized. Many students struggle with dragging and dropping. Their knowledge is not accurately displayed on the test because they lack hand-eye coordination. The iPads will serve as learning tools to cultivate new skills. I will download apps such as Sentence Builder by AbiTalk Incorporated and Sentence Building by Mobil Education so they can learn to drag and drop the words in the correct order. Punctuation is a major part of the standardized test; apps such as Punctuation and Capitalization by Grammaropolis LLC will show students how to drag and drop the ending marks to the correct place. In summary, the iPads will serve as tools to increase the children’s skills and abilities. We would really appreciate your support and your contribution would be beneficial to our growth as a classroom!
