Help me give my students a dedicated small-group learning space with individual whiteboards, small-group seating and hands-on literacy materials.

My Project

First graders learn best when they have opportunities to work closely with their teacher and classmates. I want to create a dedicated small-group learning space where I can provide targeted instruction, practice skills, and give students the individualized support they need.

This project would provide small-group chairs and individual whiteboards that can be used every day during reading, writing, phonics, math, and intervention activities.

A small-group table will give students a consistent space to work directly with me in a focused and comfortable setting. Whiteboards will allow students to practice skills, show their thinking, make mistakes, and try again without the pressure of completing a permanent worksheet.

These materials will help me:

* Provide targeted small-group instruction

* Support students who need additional practice

* Differentiate instruction based on student needs

* Give students more opportunities to practice and respond

* Make learning interactive and engaging

* Build confidence through hands-on practice

With these materials, my students will have a dedicated space where they can ask questions, practice new skills, and celebrate their growth. These resources will be used throughout the entire school year and across multiple subjects.

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn in a classroom equipped with the tools they need to succeed. I can't wait to see how these materials help my first graders grow! đź’•
