My Students

I truly believe I have the most caring, compassionate, and motivated 1st-grade students in the world right in my classroom. The majority of my students are English Language Learners who are the most hardworking people, not just students, I’ve ever met. Most of them can speak multiple languages, work the teach their own families English at home, and focus on our reading projects with so much focus and determination that I am truly in awe of them daily. They absolutely blow me away with their effort and grit.

My Project

Please support me in providing materials that will help to engage students in small group literacy instruction. I am purchasing floor puzzles for independent work, Orton Gillingham sand kits, and a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to buy quality materials. Orton Gillingham is a proven program to support students in early literacy skill development through a whole- child learning approach. IMSE states
