This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Sleep is an essential function that allows your body and mind to recharge, leaving you refreshed and alert when you wake up. Studies have shown that children who regularly get an adequate amount of sleep have improved attention, behavior, learning, memory, and overall mental and physical health. This is why providing students the opportunity to rest daily is important.

Feeling comfortable while laying down to rest is key to helping children fall asleep and stay asleep during rest time.

Children should not have to worry about their cots breaking or bending because they have been used so many times. Children deserve to lie down feeling like they are at home in their own bed. With proper rest, the classroom will thrive as behaviors are diminished and children are full of energy and ready to learn.
