Before, we all made our own in tiny ice trays that were very difficult to get them out of. Now we can make a batch in about 5 minutes! The machine is being kept in a common area for all 66 students to benefit from.\r\n\r\nWe use the cool cubes to help escalated students regulate their body/emotions. In my room, if we see a student start to get angry or frustrated, we ask if they would like some cool cubes. They can sit at a table, on their cot or in the calm space to take a break with the cubes. Students can also approach a teacher at any time and ask for cool cubes. The students love them and it really seems to help with difficult behaviors. Thank you so much for allowing our building to be able to use this copping tool more efficiently.","fullyFundedDate":1753638298256,"projectUrl":"project/keep-cool/9445631/","projectTitle":"Keep Cool","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ross","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4558040_orig.jpg?crop=435,436,x0,y52&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1551887079161","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4558040"},{"teacherId":4558040,"projectId":9143589,"letterContent":"My students were so excited to receive these books!
