Sled Dog School Novel Study- 4th Grade Class

My Project

This year I plan to follow the Iditarod Race with my fourth grade students. We will be learning all about what it takes to become a musher, how they train and work with their team of dogs, and everything about the race. I plan to create an entire unit about the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. My students will be researching all the mushers that are signed up to race in the 2024 race and I would love to have the opportunity to include a novel study using a fictional story about the sled dogs and Sled Dog School is the perfect book!
