My students will benefit from all the resources I've requested because they are the basic necessities needed throughout our day. This is my first year teaching Resource Math at the middle school level and my students are 3-4 grade levels below their peers. As we work on their IEP goals and grade level content, my students need the manipulatives I have requested in order to visualize the math problems. Because I am teaching at a middle school, the math department does not have the lower level manipulatives needed for my resource math classes. I need to be able to reach all students and each of them learn differently.
