My Project

Our population is 18+ Transition students working on Employment Skills, Independent Living and Social Skills. We focus on learning soft-skills and communication skills in the workplace in our Production Lab. Our students work on projects, such as vinyl t-shirts, wooden signs, dog treats, soap bottles, wind chimes and much more. We sell the products in our District Spirit Store, where the proceeds get returned to our program to fund additional supplies. We have an average of 140 students in our program with a variety of disabilities. Our program focuses on the individual needs of each student.

After 12 years, our heat press needs replaced.

Creating t-shirts is a huge asset to our Production lab.

Some of our students are very creative and artistic. The art supplies are to have students work on their art projects. One of our students submitted a drawing to an art competition and won the contest. This will help him and others continue to work on their goals.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
