My kindergarteners are amazing students who love to learn. There are many different types of learners in my classroom. They all come from diverse backgrounds. Each and every one of them bring a unique characteristic into our classroom. We are in an urban, New York City public school.
My students have so much energy and enthusiasm for learning.
Kindergarten is such a great grade. Children at this age academically and intellectually grow a great deal due to their fun and interesting curiosities as well as their thirst for knowledge and socialization.
My Project
My students learn best with hands-on learning materials. Basic curriculum materials are lacking in fun, child-friendly and engaging activities. I want to incorporate some different educational center resources for my students. We need to keep improving and strengthening our reading skills. With these materials, my students will have the opportunity to do so through playing fun games and using engaging materials. They will be able to work together on tasks. The opportunity to grow and advance is also important with the materials chosen. There is a range of skills available to reach all of my students’ abilities.
