My Project

Welcome to our DonorsChoose project aimed at revolutionizing the learning experience for budding musicians at our Title 1 school! Currently, our piano classes face a significant challenge: the lack of proper seating. We're on a mission to provide essential equipment that will transform the way our students engage with music education. Statistics underscore the crucial role of music education. Studies reveal that students engaged in music outperform peers in academic subjects, demonstrating enhanced cognitive skills. Furthermore, music education promotes emotional well-being, social development, and cultural enrichment.

Students are currently using wheeled desk chairs at the pianos, which are compromising posture and hindering their musical progress.

With your help, we can provide sturdy benches, enabling students to immerse themselves fully in piano playing, fostering proper technique and musical development. By supporting this project, you directly impact the lives of our students, empowering them to pursue their musical passions and unlock their full potential.
