Sit, Solve, Collaborate: Transforming Our Math Classroom

Help me give my students wobble stools, a mobile whiteboard, and dry-erase supplies for a comfortable place to collaborate with other advanced math students while they work in small groups around the room.

My Project

Wobble stools, a mobile whiteboard, and dry-erase supplies will create a flexible, interactive learning environment where students can move, collaborate, and share their mathematical thinking. Wobble stools will provide flexible seating that supports focus and engagement, while dry-erase boards will encourage students to solve problems, explain strategies, and learn from one another. The mobile whiteboard will allow me to take instruction and collaborative learning beyond my classroom and work with students in different areas of the school. Together, these resources will strengthen students’ speaking, listening, critical thinking, and mathematical reasoning skills while creating more opportunities for active, meaningful learning.
