Please help me give my students materials that support what they're learning about the signs in their world.

My Project

All the items in this project will support the learning about signs that are taking place in our classroom. My students have enjoyed looking at the few books we already have with pictures of signs, so I know they will enjoy read-alouds with the fictional books about mixed-up signs and creating signs of their own as they use the books with pictures of real signs as reference.

My students have enjoyed playing with a set of child-height-sized traffic signs I borrowed from a friend; I know they will be sad when the signs are returned and overjoyed when we have a set.

The cars and street map rug will encourage my students to build neighborhoods and navigate street signs.
