Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students here are great kids! Being a Title I School, our students have many economic hardships. By acquiring these items, I can incentivize and aid students as they learn their sight words.

These brightly-colored interactive materials will provide seamless engagement.

These materials will be used in small groups that are teacher supported. In small groups, the students will be taught how to complete various activities while exploring words. The smaller group setting will allow me to monitor the students and correct misconceptions right away. While in small groups, each student will be given the opportunity to “play” with words. Students learn by doing and these supplies will aid them by allowing children to learn in the manner they learn best through play.
