I teach Science to a wonderfully diverse group of students in Kindergarten, 2nd, and 3rd Grade. This includes students with Autism, students with Emotional and Learning Support needs, and English Language Learners. They come to class excited and ready to learn every day!
My students are so curious to learn about the world around them, and my goal is to foster that curiosity and help them to discover the little scientists that they are!
They work so hard and enjoy exploring and discovering new ideas through scientific investigations while working collaboratively with one another. Please help me to provide them with materials to make their learning fun and meaningful!
My Project
These write-and-wipe boards, markers, and erasers will help my students to show me their level of understanding during instruction by allowing them to write their answers and hold them up to show me and their peers. This will provide me with a formative assessment so that I can ensure all students are grasping the concepts being taught. In seeing which students need additional assistance, I can provide them with small group instruction to help them better understand the learning.
My students are always excited to show off their knowledge and these materials will let them do just that!
In addition, the holding stands for the write-and-wipe boards offer a great place for students to store them when they are not using them, helping to teach my students valuable organizational skills!
