My Project

My school receives a grant for fruit and vegetable snacks for elementary students for four days of the week. In past years, I have asked my classroom parents to provide snack for Fridays. This year is tough. This year, I know that so many of my classroom parents are struggling with just the necessities.

My students need a snack every day.

School days can get long. Students need to focus on learning, not on how hungry they are.

A snack also helps to fuel their brain. I have tried to pick out a variety of healthy snacks that also meet the health needs of my students (no nuts and little gluten). Help me provide my students with nourishment for learning.
