Now I have these great storage boxes that hold them and the correlating resources with ease. First, and foremost, they are a great fit for my students. Before, I had chairs of different sizes in my classroom, and some of them were too small (kindergarten size) for my students. I had complaints about how their legs and bottoms hurt because they had to sit with their legs crossed and cramped and on a chair seat that was too small. One of the first things my students told me was how comfortable the chairs were. (I get this same response from adult visitors to my classroom. Which is nice that adults can also sit in the chairs comfortably.)\r\n Secondly, the chairs are adjustable. This is very nice because I have students of very different heights. The kids love that they have a chair that is just right for them!\r\n Lastly, I am very impressed with how sturdy these chairs are. With the standard chair you see in most classrooms, the plastic is flexible and after some time, it often cracks. These headphones have been such a blessing to my students and to me!\r\n With these headphones, my students are able to use the built in mic for their reading fluency app. They are able to use them when the whole class is practicing keyboarding. They were able to use them during mid-year progress monitoring tests. They have come in so handy and are used nearly every day! Before this, I did not have enough good, working, and well fitting headphones for my class. Now, each student has a pair assigned to just them, so there are always enough for whoever needs to use headphones.\r\n My kids love them because they fit them and are comfortable to wear. With the old ones, I heard complaints every time they had to put them on. I even tried on a pair and had to agree, they are comfortable! One of the programs they must use, is easiest to use on an iPad. For my class of 15 students, we started the year with 5 iPads and, of course, had to take turns using them. With our time being very precious, we had to be very creative fitting in all of the practice that was required each day for each student. Some days, it just didn't happen, and the academic growth I hoped, wanted, and needed to see in the students wasn't really happening.\r\n Now, with just the addition of two more iPads, it has made getting in this required and necessary practice each day much easier. Instead of 3 students per iPad, the ratio is about 2 students per iPad. Less wait time and more iPads are available when the students have the time to do their practice.
