My Project

These items will help complete my class set of No Fear Shakespeare Romeo and Juliet which we will be reading in class. It will also provide my students with several modern retellings of the classic story for them to read and further study to help develop their understanding of the story as well as themes of fate and destiny and whether or not we have control over our own fate.

Modern retellings of classic stories help readers to better relate to the tops they are studying.

This will allow students the opportunity to find a story they relate to that also closely relates to the original story of Romeo and Juliet.
