My Project

My students are loving, kind, and hardworking. Hands-on activities are their favorite and they enjoy working in groups. They also love to receive rewards from time to time.

Read Across America is a big week for our entire school.

We invite community leaders to come in and read to our classes, we decorate the whole school, the students dress up, and we do lots of Dr. Seuss activities. We also have reading challenges during that week.

I am requesting Dr. Seuss themed items to give away as prizes for completing the reading challenge. The students will be given a list of challenges and a recording sheet to complete. The prizes will be given to the challenge winners.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
