My Project

My Teaching Team and I are asking for your support to update our educational resources to create a fun, engaging, hands-on learning environment for our young Scholars. The pandemic has greatly impacted our scholars in all areas of development. Our scholars are amazing, high energy, eager learners who deserve a classroom filled with age-appropriate learning materials to help challenge, enrich and support their overall developmental growth.

This project will provide our classroom with essential educational resources that will allow our young learners to explore, create and strengthen critical thinking skills useful in establishing a positive growth mindset, and develop an early love for learning!

These learning materials will be used daily to enhance our scholars' learning experiences and provide them with endless learning opportunities, through hand-on activities and learning from one another through parallel play. The Bristle blocks, puzzles and other learning manipulatives will not only help strengthen our scholars fine motor development, but also strengthen their cognitive development with the variety of learning materials this project would provide. The Bristle blocks offer a little more added resistance, increasing hand strength to connect and pull apart. Bristle blocks also have the added bonus of TEXTURE, which helps to increase visual attention.
