My Project

I filled the cart with materials I know will motivate, engage, and help with self-regulation among my students. We have struggled this year to find our learning flow as we realized early on that we need to build a strong foundation first. Our students are highly motivated to connect and learn, but find themselves struggling to regulate, name their feelings and needs, and truly connect respectfully and safely with each other and our learning. My hopes are that through specific rewards, regulation sensory tools, music, and a variety of hands-on experiences that involve students even more meaningfully in our learning time together, that we will see a boost in focus, sincere engagement and participation, and overall desire to be curious and push themselves to do great things!
