My Project

This year our program is brand new. We are creating our classroom environment from the ground up and have the opportunity to create a space designed to support the needs of our unique children who will call it their classroom.

Our students thrive when they receive individualized support that honors their developmental, communication, and sensory needs.

Every child experiences and processes the world differently. Some need movement to focus, something to hold to feel calm, or a comforting space when the world becomes overwhelming.

Before a child can learn, they need to feel safe. Before they can focus, they need to feel regulated. And before they can become independent, they need to know their needs are understood and supported.

Our priority is creating a supportive sensory environment with tools that can help our students navigate their school day with greater comfort, confidence, and independence. With your support, we hope to provide:

Fidgets & Tactile Tools: To channel energy, support sensory needs, and maintain focus during lessons.

Flexible & Calming Seating: To support posture, movement, and comfort while completing classroom tasks.

Deep Pressure & Regulation Equipment: To provide grounding input when a student feels overwhelmed and needs help calming and regulating.

These classroom tools can make a world of difference to our students. A calming tool can help an overwhelmed child regain control and return to learning.

Most importantly, these supports tell our students: You belong here. You are understood. Your needs matter.

Your generosity will help us build more than a classroom—it will help us create a safe, welcoming place where our students can grow, build independence, discover their strengths, and believe in what they are capable of achieving.
