Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Sensory tools and rewards play a crucial role in the development and education of elementary school children by providing them with essential support and motivation to learn effectively. These tools encompass a wide range of materials and activities designed to engage various senses such as touch, sight, sound, and movement, catering to diverse learning styles and needs among students. Moreover, sensory tools can help regulate children's sensory processing, particularly beneficial for those with sensory processing difficulties or conditions such as autism spectrum disorder. Items like fidget toys, weighted blankets, or sensory seating options provide students with outlets to self-regulate their sensory input, promoting a conducive learning environment where they can focus and participate more effectively in classroom activities.
