My Project

Our project is to create a sensory room for those who need a focus break during the school day. The items we are requesting (rug, rope lights, sensory mats, and storage) will help make a difference in the lives of our students by creating a safe space where they can unwind and relax. Helping our students learn to focus will in turn help them get better grades and do better in school.

The goal of this project is to give a safe space for students to come to calm down and rewind.

The main use of the room will be with our special needs students. We want to create a safe space for them to come to "take a sensory break," recharge, refocus, and be able to go back into the classroom

Our students need a little extra help in school which is what the room is for. We will also use the room for other students so they too can have a "sensory break."
