My Project

Our goal is to foster an environment in which every student can thrive. Our classroom serves K–5 students with special needs and encompasses a wide range of abilities. We are committed to accommodating each student’s individual needs, particularly in supporting their sensory and learning preferences.

By incorporating specialized seating options, we can provide students with comfortable and functional workspaces tailored to their sensory requirements.

For example, rocking and bouncing chairs can support students who benefit from movement, while kick bands allow students to engage in controlled physical activity without disrupting the classroom environment. Additionally, textured seat cushions offer important sensory input that can enhance focus and engagement.

Together, these supports help create a more inclusive and effective learning environment for all students.
