The resources have been especially helpful in giving my students opportunities to participate in meaningful classroom routines and build important life skills. One activity they particularly enjoy is helping wipe down the tables after meals and activities. This simple task gives them a sense of responsibility and accomplishment while helping them practice skills they will use in everyday life. Learning how to clean and take care of their environment is an important part of their development and independence.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, they were excited to explore and immediately wanted to help! They were especially enthusiastic about being able to use the cleaning supplies themselves. Seeing their excitement over something as simple as wiping a table was such a wonderful moment.
