Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students who have Autism need activities that allow them to meet their sensory needs. In my list, I have everything from kinetic sand and Orbies to body socks.

The kinetic sand will be used with the tiny action figures as a sensory activity for students after they have finished their group work.

The wall tiles and fidget boards will go into the Reset Room to help when students need time to regulate. There is also a walking rope that will be used to teach my students how to walk in a line and stay together when walking around the school and on field trips.
