My Project

Our K–2 special education classroom is a place where every student learns in their own unique way. Many of our students benefit from hands-on, sensory experiences that help them feel calm, focused, and ready to learn. This project will provide a variety of sensory materials that students can explore, manipulate, and use throughout their school day.

With items that offer different textures, movements, sounds, and tactile experiences, students will have meaningful opportunities to regulate their emotions, build fine-motor skills, increase attention, and engage with classroom activities.

These materials will also support sensory breaks and individualized learning needs, helping students return to instruction feeling comfortable and prepared.

By funding this project, you are helping us create a welcoming, inclusive classroom where our students can explore, learn, and grow in ways that work best for them. Every sensory tool will give our students another opportunity to feel successful, build independence, and enjoy learning.
