This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Sensory breaks are incredibly helpful in supporting students attention span, self regulation and much more! Our cozy corner is a safe place where our students can go anytime to get some space from the often hectic and exciting learning environment.

With your help, my students will have access to a privacy cube with various sensory opportunities.

This will help them calm down and give them a positive environment to sit in. It is important for my students to feel safe and comfortable in my classroom so they are able to take risks and manage a variety of emotions in a healthy way.
