Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our program is a new full day preschool program, in a high school this year. Our children love to explore through their senses. We would like to set up a science and exploration area in our classroom. We plan to use the tables and stools to set up the area. We plan to use the 5 senses kit to help the children learn about what their five senses are, and understand how we use them each day. We will use the coding activity to practice our coding skills, as we continue to explore together. We will use the sensory bottles and noodles to entice some of our learners to explore with their eyes, and hands. We will use the shape activity to put it all together, and show what we have learned. The solar system puzzle will add to the new exploration area, by encouraging the children to see what is beyond our world.
