My Project

My students are hands-on learners! They have a range of different disabilities, and we need literacy activities that allow them to explore with their hands.

By having hands-on literacy manipulatives, such as the Big Book Storytelling Activity Kits, it will allow them to explore the story and differentiate the story to our multi-level learners.

Not only do literacy manipulatives make learning more fun, but they really provide students more ways to engage with letters and texts, develop stronger comprehension skills, and build fluency skills.

My students love books and engaging with them, and this is just one more way for them to be able to love literacy!
