Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The end of the school year is approaching, and my second-grade students are eagerly anticipating summer! To acknowledge their diligent efforts, I'm planning an ice cream party. This celebration will also incorporate a book report, creatively presented on an ice cream template, where students can demonstrate their reading progress from this year.

Drawing on my 21 years of teaching experience, I know that celebrating student achievements is key to fostering motivation, creating a positive learning environment, and building self-assurance.

By celebrating their successes and providing them with helpful summer supplies, I aim to encourage their continued pursuit of excellence in all their learning.

By providing these decorations, plastics utensils, party favors, and other supplies, we can create an unforgettable end-of-year celebration for our students. This special event will allow them to reinforce their reading skills in a fun way while also receiving valuable supplies for their summer break. Connecting their academic efforts with this unique experience will undoubtedly leave a lasting positive impression.
