This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are vibrant, hands-on learners who are at their best when they can connect classroom lessons to the real world. We are currently diving into the study of physical changes and states of matter, but we often struggle to observe these transitions in real-time without the proper equipment.

By adding a mini fridge and an ice maker to our classroom, my students will have a dedicated "cooling station" to conduct experiments on freezing and melting points.

They will be able to observe exactly how liquid water transforms into a solid and investigate the variables that affect those physical changes. Beyond the science lab, these resources will provide a space for healthy snacks and cold water, ensuring my students stay nourished and focused. Your support will help us turn abstract concepts into tangible discoveries while supporting my students' daily well-being!
