My Project

I love that my students are excited about coming to my Science class. They are pleased to go to the lab and do experiments. They love to manipulate items, investigate, and test concepts they have learned in the classroom. The materials I am requesting all relate to Science standards that my students are expected to master on the state test at the end of this academic year.

My students are noticeably more engaged, and I can see the "lights come on" and why they engage with hands-on materials that connect to the lessons taught.

With the materials that I am requesting, students will get a chance to enhance and reinforce their knowledge of Genetics including DNA, punnett squares and growing plants with genetic and environmental factors. These materials make a huge difference in their ability to engage with, question, understand and make them life long learners of Science.
